Finally, you should consider the style of the furniture. Will it fit in with the rest of your home? Does it match your color scheme? If possible, take swatches that match your home’s paint colors, wallpapers, and fabrics with you to the furniture store, so that you can compare them against the pieces of furniture you are considering.

You should also consider how the furniture will meet your needs in the future.
